Sliding wardrobe doors – new range available

Whilst we have been very happy with our range of sliding wardrobe doors, which we feel offer a fantastic selection of finishes and represents great quality at an affordable price, we are always monitoring the market for new products to complement our offerings.

The new range of sliding wardrobe doors features; even more colour and material options with frames available in aluminium, Black and Champagne and panels available in a range of matt or gloss colours as well as woodgrain finishes and glass . The sliding doors are also available in wider sizes, which can benefit the design as well as the price, and are made to measure in 2 weeks, rather than our existing 3-4.

For more information call in to the showroom, where we can show you the special design tool which creates the doors for you, or call us on 01642 550909 and arrange a home survey. For those happy to measure up for themselves, please feel free to e-mail the width and height (max 2400mm) to and include what sort of colours and materials you are interested in and I can provide an image and quotation by return e-mail. Please bear in mind that the price of sliding wardrobe doors varies greatly depending on the material and we are happy to provide alternative pricing options.

We offer several options for the internals of the wardrobes, if required, and we are happy to offer supply only or fitted. So if your changing your summer wardrobe then why not change the wardrobes too.

Curved kitchen units

This stunning Malmo, white gloss, handleless kitchen really shows off the charm of curved kitchen units, allowing for a smooth flow of units all the way round this u-shape kitchen and finishing of the ends.

The white gloss makes the kitchen seem much larger and brighter and the Silver Paradiso granite provides both contrast and character, with the stunning grain which courses through it. Granite is a great kitchen worksurface for various reasons, the shaping, the durability, but often most important is the uniqueness and beauty that a natural product can bring. This kitchen also features upstands and window cills in the matching granite and an undermount sink with curved drainer grooves.

Integrated appliances help to make the whole kitchen have a much more streamline look, hiding away the dishwasher and washing machine and putting the oven and combination microwave at accessible heights. This kitchen also features a pull out larder, used in conjunction with the oven housing to house the American fridge freezer, induction hob and modern black glass extractor.

All preparation work was coordinated and project managed by us; removing the kitchen, plastering the walls and leveling the floor, preparing the electrics including ceiling lights, then the full installation of the kitchen and tiling the floor.

This is a beautiful kitchen, showing off some of the great features of Malmo and will be a very practical kitchen to work in as well as easy to maintain which are often the key features our customers are looking for.

If you are looking for a company to carry out a complete kitchen project then why not come and see us, I’m sure you’ll be pleased you did.

New display coming soon

New display coming soon

With new styles and colours being launched to meet the trends and needs of customers, we have to constantly monitor our showroom displays to make sure they cover the most popular as well as indicating the breadth of the range available.

With that in mind we will be replacing the Erin natural oak display with Stowe light grey as the demand for oak is low and painted doors and the colour grey are very in demand. Stowe is essentially a classic shaker door but the slight bevel detail around the centre panel and the smooth finish give it a very contemporary look. It was originally launched last year in just two colours, porcelain and light grey which are available “off the shelf”, but it is now offered in the full painted colour pallette.

To bring the latest in innovation to you, we will be pairing this with a new Dekton worksurface from Cosentino, makers of Silestone, in a stunning Calacatta marble effect and featuring upstands and a Silestone undermount sink.

The new display will showcase the latest in designs, colours and materials and could be just the inspiration you need to set you on the journey into a beautiful new kitchen.

Keep an eye out for pictures of the finished project and by all means call in to see how its coming along for yourself.

New door style – Matfen

New door style Matfen

We’re happy to tell you about the new door style Matfen, now available in our made to measure vinyl range. It is essentially a classic, shaker door but has a little bevel detail around the centre, adding a more contemporary look, much like the Marlow and Stowe doors from Burbidge which are very popular.

We are pleased to be able to offer this style, made to measure and in a wide range of colours, including the new woodgrain colours, recently added to the range. White, light grey and graphite join Ivory, Mussel and Dakar in the selection of woodgrain finish doors which give the kitchen a quality feel of natural wood but with in a more durable and easy maintenance way.

As we find made to measure doors essential in most of our kitchen refreshes, having more styles and colours to offer gives our customers greater choice and gives them the kitchen they want without the extra cost and time involved in a complete refit.

So whether you want a complete new kitchen or just to update it with new doors, worktops, or appliances call us on 01642 550909 or come to the showroom on Mill Lane in Billingham and see the range of options available.

January kitchen sales

With many kitchen retailers shouting about their fantastic January kitchen sales, many people get caught up with the promise of a bargain and don’t take the time to check that it really is.

Department stores use January sales to clear their stock and if you’re prepared to wait for the sale you might get the coat or handbag you’ve had your eye on for 40% less, though you also run the risk that they’re all gone! Kitchens are a very different situation, so how is it then that some companies offer 50% off, or more, in their January kitchen sales?

All I can say is, that we don’t have our prices set so high that we could give 50% off in January, or in any other month for that matter, we price every job based on what the client chooses and the work that is required to carry out the project.

We offer great quality, British made, bespoke kitchen units, colour matched to the door style you choose from our fantastic British door suppliers. We put that together with a personal and no pressure design service and a quality, affordable and project managed installation, including everything from small building works and boilers to lighting and wall and floor tiling.

This is what we do all year, every year and we’d be happy to compare our pricing with any of the 50% off January kitchen sales.

White gloss kitchen

After a recent resurgence in orders of white gloss kitchens, I thought I would share the images of this Malmo White Gloss kitchen completed yesterday.

This is very much a lifestyle and luxury kitchen in stunning handleless gloss, with Negro Tebas Silestone worksurfaces including upstands and window cills, Bosch appliances and a handy winecooler. The island integrates with the kitchen an is a great place for friends and family to sit round for dinner or just a glass of wine.

Led lighting under the units and the plinth give it a wow factor with an energy efficient bonus and help to show that great looking kitchens can also be very practical.

This is what our customer had to say…

Just wanted to say a HUGE Thank You to you all. Kitchen is amazing, I love it!
Thanks so much again!

So if you have desires for a white gloss kitchen in the new year, or any other type of kitchen for that matter, drop into the showroom on Mill Lane, Billingham or call us on 01642 550 909 to arrange a home survey.

Two tone kitchens

While most people go for one finish/style of door for their kitchen, there are those that go for two tone kitchens to bring in a different colour or texture or to create specific features with a wow effect.

Two tone kitchens can be designed in different ways; two colours that blend together such as a painted wood kitchen where some units, perhaps wall units or other key areas, are in one colour and the rest in another or; by making the units out of a contrasting material and then have the doors in a painted oak or perhaps a gloss or; bringing two textures together such as one of the new, modern, grained materials such as Driftwood or Bardolino Oak with a smooth, gloss acrylic.

The two tone kitchens we have on display include a painted hessian door on oak cabinets, a gloss porcelain handleless door with bi-fold, textured, smoked oak wall units and a mixture of dark elm and gloss grey. These pictures are of a recent project in Bardolino Oak and Gloss Jasmine.

Worktop selection is even more critical with two tone kitchens as there are two elements that the worktop has to coordinate with but with years of experience and a wide range of laminate, granite and quartz worktops available we have everything we need to help you make that decision.

Why not check out our two tone kitchen displays on Mill Lane, Billingham or call us on 01642 550909 and make an appointment for a home survey and we can design the kitchen that’s right for you, whether 1 tone or 2!

Vintage floor tiles

With vintage currently being one of the most modern styles around, these vintage floor tiles can give your new kitchen or bathroom a distinct and stunning look.

Looking like distressed wood floor boards, but will all the hard wearing attributes and easy maintenance of ceramic tiles these vintage floor tiles are both practical and attractive.

These pictures show the Vintage cream in a recent garden room project we have been involved in and coordinate beautifully with a lot of the new furniture coming out at the moment. The variations in colour allow them to complement a wide range of colour schemes and create a very natural look and the Vintage Grey looks stunning with on trend grey kitchens, photos of one to follow soon!

In the first image you can also see one of bespoke furniture designs in a very modern driftwood effect, so even if you’re not after a kitchen, why not call in to the showroom on Mill Lane, Billingham and see what else we can offer.
