For many there is a strong attraction to natural wood but it is often not the most practical of solutions, solid wood flooring can be very expensive and require a great deal of care and maintenance. Both wood and laminate floors can be severely damaged from water, so any little leaks and spills in the kitchen, too much water when mopping or normal bathroom use can eventually ruin the floor.

With ceramic or porcelain tiles there is no threat of damage by water and they are extremely hard wearing but many people would prefer the richness and interest that comes from wood.

Now with the latest in wood effect tiles you can have the best of both worlds, a hard wearing floor that can stand up to all spills and splashes but you’ll find it hard to believe that they’re not real wood.

These pictures show one of our displays with a warm and quite rustic floorboard style of tile and the other a brand new modern, grey oak used to stunning effect on a bathroom floor and as a feature behind the basin.
