Here are some pictures of our recently finished project in Whitby, North Yorkshire. After completing an installation locally, we were honoured to have been recommended to a family member a little further afield. The whole room was pine clad and rather dark and dreary, we stripped everything back and plastered the lot before fitting this rather challenging space. Total attention to detail was given to the design, due to the out of square shape of the room and to incorporate the curves which really make it what it is. The corner cabinets were made to special sizes to maximise storage and access to the corners. The design wasn't the only challenge with this kitchen, as it was right in the middle of the action, in the centre of Whitby and up 2 flights of stairs. The kitchen is Budbidge's Finsbury, painted to order, in this lovely Fjord Green (though it's more of a blue to me), a unique choice of colour, but very appropriate for the coastal venue. The door is complemented by the Blue Pearl Granite worksurface, with matching upstands, splashback and window cill, all carried out by F. Jones, Middlesbrough. The Dupont, edge detail really adds an extra dimension to the finish. The copper handles have been coordinated with the sockets and tap, Blanco Envoy in rose gold, and then with lovely accessories by the customer. If you have a project of us, hopefully a bit closer to home, then come and see us.
